From the Craft Markets in Waiotahi and Whakatane to visits on local marae the Eastern Bay of Plenty has a dynamic range of cultural experiences on offer.  Indigenous Adventures offer a guided walking tour on Motohora (Whale Island) giving visitors a chance to learn about Maori ecology and colonial history.  And the Eastern Bay of Plenty has a variety of public art including Tm Worrall's mural in Whakatane and the carved pou at Waiotahi Beach. We are also in the process of developing a Creative Trail which will include artists featured on this site.
