Jamie began his career as an illustrator/graphic designer in Wellington, New Zealand, during which time he contributed artworks to various exhibitions within the Wellington region.  In 2001 he returned to his roots and now resides in the Eastern Bay of Plenty where his is working as an independent artist.

Jamie has since exhibited in a number of locations throughout New Zealand and is currently working on a series of new works for his next solo exhibition.  His work is sold both within New Zealand and internationally. 

Jamie's focus at this time is on integratiing the knowledge he has gained in carving, printmaking and photography, into his paintings and sculptures. His new series will explore the 'consciousness of creation', to evoke the remembrance of our place in the Universe - our connectivity to one another and to Papatuanuku (Earth Mother).

It is Jamie's intention to produce artworks that may act as a universal bridge between cultures and paradigms, to help people to connect and create greater understanding, peace, love and harmony.
