This group, of mainly Ohope and Whakatane artists, meets fortnightly to paint and share techniques and information.   It holds workshops at least three times per year in different art related disciplines.

The Ohope Art Group invites non members to participate in workshops - the next being an advanced watercolour course tutored by Auckland specialist Ted Sherwen (winner of the Best Watercolour award, Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Award 2007).

The group holds an annual exhibition at the Bourganvillia Cafe, Bluett Road, Ohope
